Emma Novak Christensen specialises in family and inheritance law and provides legal advice with a high level of expertise and strong human insight. She has extensive experience in cases concerning parental responsibility, residence and contact arrangements, spousal maintenance, as well as division of assets, divorce, and other disputes arising from the breakdown of relationships.

Emma is passionate about de-escalating conflict and finding sustainable solutions – particularly in cases involving children and divorce, where emotions and crisis often play a significant role. With a focus on both the legal and human aspects of each matter, she helps her clients move forward and establish workable cooperation after separation.

She advises on all aspects of inheritance law and assists heirs with estate administration in both private and public probate proceedings, as well as in cases involving misuse of undivided estates and related issues.

In 2016, Emma founded the legal company Replik A/S (formerly Familie Testamente A/S), which today is one of Denmark’s leading advisory firms within family and inheritance law. The firm employs approximately 30 highly specialised lawyers (cand.jur.) and law students.

Emma is a trained mediator and works as a mediator. She currently serves as deputy member of the Danish Association of Mediator Lawyers.
