Allan Ohms

With a strong legal and human understanding, Allan assists both private individuals and businesses with legal advice, where relationships, values and the future play a central role. He focuses in particular on finding solutions that are not only legally sound, but also sustainable from a human perspective.

Allan is also a court mediator at the Eastern High Court and is listed on the Danish Institute of Arbitration’s list of experienced mediators. He uses mediation and other forms of constructive conflict resolution to help people move forward – especially in cases where cooperation and communication are key to getting through complex conflicts unscathed.

He combines law with leadership, communication and philosophy – drawing on many years of experience as an adviser to business leaders, organisations and private families alike.

Protreptic – the art of conversation rooted in philosophy

Allan is trained in protreptic – a special form of dialogue that helps people reflect on their values and direction in life. Protreptic, which has roots in ancient philosophy and has been further developed in Denmark by Professor Ole Fogh Kirkeby, is part of Allan’s approach to leadership, advisory work and conflict resolution. In 2023, Allan was named Protreptician of the Year.
