Spring and the milder weather have made several summer house owners think of selling. New supply figures for early June show an increase in the total number of holiday homes for sale in Denmark of 20 percent. This is happening after the total supply of holiday homes reached the lowest level since the beginning of 2015 at the beginning of March this year.
“There is no doubt that there has been a boost in the supply of holiday homes this spring. And especially in our area in Stevns Municipality, the number has increased by 80 percent since the beginning of March this year. This is the highest increase nationally, but it must also be said that it is an area which does not have the largest proportion of holiday homes, and the high increase in supply is therefore also made up of a relatively small number of holiday homes.
